Meet Goudappel.
We strive for a sustainable society in which every individual can get around comfortably. As values-driven mobility experts, we help our customers with making choices to design that sustainable society. We do so at all scale levels: from strategy and vision to on-street design.
From five locations in the Netherlands and through our partners abroad, we work with over 250 colleagues, each with their own specialism. From traffic experts, landscape architects and behavioural scientists to specialists in retail, public transport and software development - we got it all.
Some examples of challenges we are working on:
- How do we turn our city centre areas into greener and more liveable areas while keeping them accessible at the same time?
- How do we create more space for pedestrians, cyclists, socialising and recreation?
- How do we embed general welfare in (mobility) policy?
- How do we include the needs of different stakeholders in our plans?
With over 60 years of experience, we know one thing: finding the answers to these questions requires more than mobility expertise. That's why at Goudappel:
- We work with a holistic view: we explore solutions from multiple points of view: accessibility, sustainability, inclusiveness, traffic safety as well as economic vitality.
- We make space for creativity: we discover new solutions, design processes and we are not afraid to experiment with pilots
- We validate and test our ideas quantitatively with models and data, which we disclose through self-developed products and services.
- We pay attention to the process: we design suitable participation paths and use process managers to lead projects to a successful outcome.
