In a circular economy, waste does not exist and raw materials are fully reused. They remain in circulation rather than being discarded.
We are using more and more raw materials, even though these resources are not infinitely available. Raw materials are being depleted at a rapid pace, which is why it is essential to reuse them. This helps prevent shortages while also reducing waste. In addition, the current climate crisis provides even more reason to work towards a circular economy.
