The Bigbelly range has been renewed. From a simple closed waste bin to a smart, self-pressing waste bin with unique self-compacting technology, which needs to be emptied five times less often and works on solar energy. There is now a Bigbelly for every location and for multiple waste streams. This also applies to the empty pizza boxes, the Pizzabelly, recently introduced in Leiden. The municipality of Utrecht where this fair is held has also been working with the Bigbelly's for years in the fight against litter. You will find the Bigbelly's at various locations in the city centre and in front of the station and at our stand. The Smart Bigbelly's automatically each send their own full notification. In addition, TWS supplies a complete steel litter bin line with litter bins from 50 to 100 litres for litter that also fit in the bracket of the Capitol waste bin. Separate collection of litter is also possible.
By installing filling level sensors in litter bins at more remote locations, emptying is only carried out when these bins are really full. A number of municipalities in the Netherlands have already successfully applied this together with TWS. The REEN software can also predict filling behaviour. With large-scale use of the REEN fill level sensors in, for example, above or underground containers, fully automatic efficient collection routes can be planned based on the actual measurements in combination with these predictions, based on the capacity of the collection vehicles, the collection times and dumping locations. This makes bulging bins and additional placements a thing of the past and high efficiency and CO2 savings are achieved.
