W&H Sports en GreenMatter

At W&H Sports, the core belief is that true victory lies in progress. Every day, the company is committed to making sports environments safer, more innovative, more sustainable, and more attractive. Whether it's playgrounds, sports facilities, public spaces, or stadiums—W&H Sports thinks beyond today and creates solutions for the future.

Their approach goes beyond sport alone: W&H Sports combines Winning & Happiness.

Winning
Sport is about pushing boundaries in competitive ambition. Improving fitness, being "greater" than others. Overcoming yourself and others at all costs. Improving. Conquering. Growing. At the same time, sportsmanship and respect for fellow athletes form the backbone of every great achievement.

Happiness
Sport is becoming increasingly important for the mental well-being of individuals. It offers a moment to focus on yourself, away from the daily rush. It also reconnects people with each other and the world around them. It promotes mental health. Simply put, sport and movement contribute to a positive feeling throughout the day. This "W&H" (Winning & Happiness) approach helps unite the human side with the competitive side. That's the playing field of W&H Sports.

Social responsibility is embedded in the company's DNA. With GreenMatter, an initiative in collaboration with Lankhorst Engineered Products, W&H Sports gives worn-out artificial turf a second life. This actively contributes to reducing the artificial turf waste mountain—through circular products and by providing meaningful work via social employment initiatives.

Together, they make an impact. Because improving is winning – for people, sport, and planet!

In Practice
Being able to drive improvement in sports by offering the best sports and furnishing materials has always been a challenge W&H Sports embraces. It is becoming increasingly important to equip the sports world with complete, future-proof, and circular facilities. A great example is the W&H courts: these fields reflect the company's identity and respond to various trends and developments. W&H Sports can design public spaces as sustainably as possible using sports and furnishing materials.

Their experience in equipping sports facilities has given the company a wealth of expertise. In recent years, W&H Sports has increasingly moved towards complete movement concepts—not just for public spaces, but also for schools and sports parks.

On Circularity
Future-proof and circular facilities are truly possible—and GreenMatter proves it. Municipalities are supported with circular solutions for worn-out artificial turf fields to help reduce the turf waste pile.

To make this possible, GreenMatter is continuously working on product development, together with partners who share the same circular ambitions. The latest products made from recycled artificial turf include bicycle elements, grass tiles, and an exciting new solution to be unveiled at the trade fair—a solution that makes public space facilities even more valuable. Recycle the present, save the future is no empty promise at GreenMatter.

GreenMatter also offers climate-adaptive solutions, such as water-permeable (grass) tiles, made with 50% recycled artificial turf.

Additionally, a handy tool has been developed for municipalities: the Artificial Turf Waste Calculator, which provides easy insight into their contribution to raw materials policies.

W&H Sports and GreenMatter can be found at booth 3.5.51 on September 24 and 25.
